Homemade Meat?

It is an interesting concept- growing meat cells at home. Something I am usre will make vegans happy- especially considering how awful Tofu can be when not properply prepared. On a safety end, this meat would be free of prions, viruses, bacteria, and fecal material. But does it taste the same. The texture of meat comes from how much activity the animal gets and what sort of food it eats. I doubt chemicals in a Petri dish will live up to comparison (something like Veggie hot dogs).

I am impressed that someone ever thought of doing this. It shouldn't be surprising considering scientists can grow human ears on rats.

If given the option, I would try it.

So this is what you think up in the early hours of the morning. Interesting, very interesting... One thing's for sure, I wouldn't eat it. And now I have the image of a human ear growing off the back of a poor little lab rat. Nice...
Oh, and a Mr.Quack update: He sent a post card form Florida. He and Mrs. Quack are doing just fine.
Later Dude.
